Shreveport is a city located in the state of Louisiana, positioned in the northwest region of the state. It is the third most populated city in Louisiana, following New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The city is situated primarily in Caddo Parish, serving as the parish seat, and reaches into Bossier Parish to the west, along the Red River.
